New Year at Forest Edge Lodge was an absolute delight! The hosts were incredibly gracious and warm, welcoming us with open arms. Staying at the lodge was just what we needed. The location was quiet on a street full of trees with a suburban feeling. Kids loved the place becuase they were able to play outside and with the toys that were there. Location is right at the city limit so if you plan to see Riga city center you probably need a car. We had a car so no problem, just writhing this for others to know.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Big spacious house, very clean and comfortable. We saw the photos before arriving, but the real thing was somehow even more impressive. The owner replied fast to any questions and even let us check out an hour later, which was very kind. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and our group definitely wants to stay here again for any future trips.
Very clean and neat, simple and stylish. Very good bed and linnen, towels and small mini kitchen. Not really meant for much cooking, though it’s not impossible. One-pit induction is super fast and main cutlery is available. Coffee, tea, sugar and salt are there as well. Very friendly and helpful host.
