A quiet and idillic place, perfect for a countryside getaway! Hosts were very nice and helpful, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen gave many options for cooking and there is a waterslide in to the pond. A very nice experience!

I wish I could magically wake up every weekend in Alvis' home in Aglona.. What a wonderful place! We loved absolutely everything about it : the house itself is so comfortable and full of history, the nature that surrounds it and all the lovely areas set up to enjoy it are so peaceful and outstandingly beautiful, black banya is an unforgettable experience, the town is quiet but with everything one might need and so many things to explore. This place is heaven for anyone who would like to slow down and enjoy what really matters: peace and quiet, natural beauty and good company. We had the warmest welcome, Alvis was so thoughtful and always made sure we were comfortable and never had to worry about anything. I am truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality! I wish we had stayed longer, but I have a feeling it's not the last time we visited this place :)

The cabin was well-appointed with all the necessities-comfortable bedding, coffee & tea bar, dishes & linens. owner also offered us a couple of homemade dinner options for a very reasonable cost. We were so happy for the tasty meal after traveling all day and finding nearby cafes closed.

The location is amazing, right next to a lake with amazing views towards the lake. The lake is so beautiful, natural and quiet, it's a little piece of Paradise. Two SUP boards were at our disposal, we could use them as much as we liked. There was also a wooden platform by the lake from which we could jump into the lake, the water was nice and we went swimming a lot. The house had everything we needed, dishes and cooking appliances - we cooked ourselves and had nice dinners outside in the gazebo with a wonderful view towards the lake. We also used the grill for a nice grilling evening outside. It was also great that a big flat screen TV was available, we had a movie evening one night, when it was raining outside. It's a very cozy and comfortable house in the middle of nature (we even picked some wild teas and berries), great thanks to the owners for welcoming us and maintaining the property in good condition.
