I was pleasantly surprised by the stay at this hotel. The hotel looks quite dull from the outside but apart from that everything is great. Very large and very clean room with fantastic beds. Friendly staff and a really good breakfast. Parking was free and felt safe. We got a room not facing the main road so it was quiet (except for church bells starting to ring at 7:00 :-) and we could have open windows so the heat was no problem.
This is the one of the hidden gems in Lithuania. Ukmerge is not a big down rather a little and the sweet one. I did not expected this kind of hotel in the heart of the town. Freshly renovated, private parking (with closed gate and 24/7 video survillance) available, perfectly english speaking staff and the room where were everything what do you need for a short or a bit longer stay. Extremely quiet and very clean.
