My family and I recently booked this house to celebrate a milestone birthday as well as our twenty-year wedding anniversary that both occurred within days of each other. We stayed exactly a week with our three kids. I cannot describe our experience as anything other than AMAZING! The pool is in good shape and can be enjoyed with a view of the ocean complete with waves crashing against the costal rocks. There are plenty of places to relax around the pool and a nicely shaded patio to take a break from the sun or get out of the rain. The house is walled on all four sides for privacy, but the ocean view is completely unobstructed because the house (and pool) sits on a hill high above the back fence. The house staff was a major highlight of our experience, and I cannot possibly fully express my gratitude for the staff here. There was someone available 24/7 yet our privacy always felt completely respected and intact. Breakfast was included in the price of the rental and consisted of the perfect combination of local produce and cuisine which was prepared and served alongside with anything that we requested. Lunch and dinner were also prepared by the staff, we only paid for the groceries. Each day they asked what we would like for lunch/dinner and then they shopped for fresh produce, seafood/meats, and alcohol and then prepare the meals. Last but far from least, a VERY special thank you to the chef and head of staff (and now friend), Upendra. He helped us with everything from food, to getting us to-and-from the airport, to planning several day trips where we traveled around the country touring temples, lakes, mountains, sea turtle sanctuaries, safaris, and a scenic train ride to name a few. Upendra easily made this trip the most memorable we’ve ever had. In all honestly, I can say that I would plan a vacation solely around his location and availability.

After staying in hotel rooms for 1 week, the kids loved being able to run on grass. And I had piece of mind as the garden was perfect and fenced in.

The property was felt like home away from home. It's a perfect house located in a perfect location. very close to almost all the facilities. Special mention about the owner; he went above all yo treat even our small requests. So, come and feel the difference😊

The villa was fantastic - a big spacious living room, two bedrooms with a bathroom respectively, plus one downstairs. Nice rooftop with early morning sun, and a small but excellent pool - which is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. The staff (Predip) was so helpful, friendly and honest. A lovely place simply.

Really friendly host and nice garden. There was a mix up over the cost additional costs involved in running the AC, the owner resolved the issue amicably

Location was handy to beach but quiet. House had everything you needed - no air conditioning but fans in each room. Kumudu, the owner , and her family are exceptionally friendly hosts and would do anything for you. We really enjoyed chatting with them. Gihan provides a taxi service if required. We highly recommend taking a look at Blue Bay Island- about 2.5km away. It was stunning and very clean. Great for a day trip and swimming. We ordered a breakfast one morning and we requested egg hoppers and fresh fruit. It was lovely. Hiriketiya Beach was our favourite spot in SL for taking it easy.

We liked everything. The owner was nice and helped us whenever he could. The apartment was clean and spacious. It was a luxury stay for us.

Host brought us coffee in the mornings, helped us find tuktuk and also helped us order dinner!
