The property owner Shawn is an excellent guy who guide me through the process since, I made the booking. He went out of the way to personally help me with whatever I needed to stay as comfortable as my own home. He has two lovely boys with pure lovely souls who keeps the place alive.The villa situated with a beautiful green sorounding with a great view of the Kandy mountains.so many colourful little birds withing the vicinity. This place is special. On the outskirts of Kandy (20min with Tuktuk, ca. 330 rupees). Beautiful and well-kept villa overlooking rice-fields, with extra friendly staff, a good room that leaves nothing to be desired. We were invited to join the cooking of our dinner in the outdoor kitchen, which was a great experience, as some ingredients came straight from the organic vegetable garden. The food was SO GOOD, both dinner and breakfast. Lots of flying bats in the evening, accompanied by chill music and an overall lovely vibe. We liked it so much that we came back 2 weeks later, here we got help (and a good price) for a taxi transfer to Nuwara-Eliya.
This is not the right hotel if you want to arrive late, eat out, and leave early the next morning. Thank you Sandy & Team for everything!
