Large house in a quiet area away from the busy part of town. Lots of seating areas and nice views from the outside deck and observation deck. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was very helpful with providing information on things to do/transport/organising bicycle hire. We have three teenage boys and there was plenty of room for them. Fabulous restaurant ‘Golden Mango aka Mango Mango’ within walking distance - very reasonable prices and delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The host was always available to answer our questions and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, making us feel like part of the family.
The property’s garden was another highlight, creating a serene atmosphere that added to the spiritual nature of our trip. Overall, this home stay enhanced our experience in Anuradhapura, and I would highly recommend it to families seeking a peaceful, well-located base for exploring the city’s religious landmarks.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Very clean, nice colours of the interior, nice terrace onto rice paddies, we saw peacocks and glowing bugs at dusk. So close to nature the insects outside singing lullabies.
