Our host Dillon could not have been more helpful. He picked us up from the airport in the early hours and even has his own tuk in which he took us to local sites. The villas are very private with lovely garden, clean and comfortable. We had both breakfast choices, both amazing and so much we never needed lunch! Induruwa beach less than 5 minutes walk and much quieter than Bentota, but plenty of restaurants choose from

Lovely sandy beach, shade from palm trees and a good length pool made relaxation a real pleasure.
The property is close to some good restaurants though you will need transport to get to them.

This is the place to be if you are looking for a beautiful, simple accommodation that is right in the middle of nature with a view of the ocean. Ramesh and his mother are helpful in everything and make you feel like part of their wonderful family. They help you organize your trip and go the extra mile to make your stay perfect.
The breakfast is amazing, you get a huge portion of fruits, tea, coffee, eggs and toast with Sri Lankan rice and curry. The property is in a great location, close enough to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, buses and trains. You are surrounded by nature and you can see monkeys, squirrels and birds. There are great cafes and restaurants in the area.
The family is so lovely and hospitable that you can't help but extend it all the time. They invited us to join them in their traditional family celebrations which gave a unique insight into the culture.
The price is perfect and value for money and I will definitely be back to Villa 826 Ahungalla on my next stay.

It was my second time on Sri Lanka. 6 years ago I was solo traveller. This time I travelled with my family of 3 and initially our intetntion was to spend 2 nights in this place and move further to enjoy the secrets of an island. Hovewere, after those 2 nights we decided to extend our stay, and then to extend it again - to the very end of our visit on Sri lanka - this is how we liked the place.
Place itself provides the feeling of isolation from the crowds - you can see and hear the jungle from the terrace. Each morning I conducted the routine with my 1.5 year old son to go birdseeing which he enjoyed a lot. Swimming pool was also nice. At the same time the the host was great and place overall was very clean. The possibility to have a great breakfast/lunch/dinner at place is a gamechanger here. All the positives combined influenced our decision to stay longer than we anticipated.

We are a family of nine people from Oman who visited Bentota from 8 to 13 August 2024. The host was very helpful. The Villa is great, clean and spacious. Each room has its own bathroom. There is a very nice swimming pool and a great garden.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The atmosphere was wonderful here. The owner is funny, friendly and on the day of our departure let us stay as much longer as we wanted. Breakfast was very tastey. The house, rooms, pool and surrounding was very clean. We were delighted to watch monkeys living in the garden. Two minutes from the house there is a wonderful, complitely empty wide beach. We stayed only one night there but would not hesitate to come back and stay longer!
Very clean, beautiful and made with soul. A quiet, secluded corner, just a heavenly place. A shower in a large room is a separate fairy tale. The food is very tasty! Thank you very much to the hosts, dear and kind people! We recommend it!
The host and family are trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Such a lovely family!
The bungalow is modern and very clean. Plus they have a menu and massage options as well as an ayurveda package deal, if you are interested.
We enjoyed the calm area next to the beach and the pool a lot!
I would definitely recommend a massage, too!
