Villa Madagala is an oasis from the bustle of Galle Town but easy to get to if you wanted to be among crowds. The villa boasts 3 lovely rooms, a living space, dining and kitchen. There is also a lovely front porch with comfortable reclined seating and plunge pool with a courtyard. Perfect for our little baby and young family! We were really happy with the service from the villa host, Eranga, who eensured all our needs were met whilst also liasing with the booking manager on our meal requirements where we had a private chef on request. It was such a lovely place, I'd definitely come back.

Everything was great during our stay. The place is newly renovated, equipped with anything one may need for longer stays too, including really good Wi-Fi connection, a beautiful kitchen with all necessary amenities, a washing machine and a spacious terrace and rooftop. The place is superb. The location is amazing. It's like 150 mts to one of the best and quietest beaches I have visited in a long long time. So relaxing. The stay was comfortable. The rooms were simply beautiful. The owner and his mother were the humblest person I have ever met. The breakfast was with options they made you select a day before. We got appum, the most delicious one I think. I am highly impressed and would definitely recommend staying here.
And added benefit, there is a rail track really close by and to take a picture or a video of the train passing so close by was beautiful

The house is retracted 50m from the street so it is very calm, yet extremely close to the bus stop (bus to center every 6min, or 25min walking).
The room is big and the AC works well. The double bed is quite comfy.
The owners are kind and helpful, they even offered to do my laundry for free (!), gifted me ice cream and tea.

This is a small self contained cottage - totally private. You will have small kitchen facilities, very comfortable bed, sofa and table. It is very secure as you have a padlock to lock the gate into the property. There are many little touches that he has thought of to make your stay pleasant - even providing new toothbrushes etc.
Our host was exceedingly hospitable and gracious, and willing to do anything for us at any time of night or day. Although I had not included any food with the price, our host surprised us with a very big breakfast of Sri Lankan delicacies on New Year’s day.
Everything is spotlessly clean, inside and out. The laneway to it is very narrow, but it’s a short walk to a very big supermarket that can sell you whatever you need.
If you don’t want a big hotel and prefer completely privacy, then I can definitely recommend!

The staff were more than helpful and friendly. Good location off the main tourist trail. Peaceful and very clean. Easy and cheap to get a tuk tuk into the old town, it’s not an issue.
We spent two nights with Hiran and his wife and we didn't want to leave! They are the most friendly and caring hosts! Their house is spacious, very clean, comfortable and beautiful and the garden is magnificent. Hiran's wife is excellent cook and we had many interesting coversations with them. They are both very helpful and polite. We would 100% recommend their accomodation and when in Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay there again!
The room is amazing, it’s big and was very clean. It has spectacular views with a nice balcony. The owner was very gentle and she organized the tuk tuk to go to train station a very good price for us.

Lovely boutique hotel in the middle of Galle Fort, you can walk anywhere from there. Just recently opened, hotel has a lovely Bali vibe style. Really good beds, very clean, nice staff.

I got a free upgrade to the sea front suite with a balcony, it was exceptional to say a leat, great view of the sea, could see the sunrise right from our balcony. The beach by the resort was very clean to walk, the staff were very accommodating.
