I had the pleasure of staying at Thara in Villa in my recently visit in Sri Lanka. I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service I received. We had an amazing stay at the Blue Ocean Tree House with a private garden. There’s only one house so you don’t have any neighbors. Our host family was so kind and the Sri Lankan was very delicious and very filling. We’d definitely stay here again if we had the chance. Bike rent for a reasonable price is also available.

The location is close to the beach, however it is overlooking the swamps. The road leading to the hut is very rocky. It is a very simple house, pretty pricy for what you get (we stayed in Sri Lanka in similar places for half the price).

It is a newly renovated room so the facilities are brand new and very clean. AC worked great and the wifi worked very well. Best in Sri Lanka so far. The family were very kind and made us delicious breakfast in the mornings. We also got our laundry done there. Its a 10 minute walk to the beach. All in all very good accomodation and very comfortable.
