From the moment you arrive, it’s as if you step into an alternative reality - one that encompasses your entire spirit, soul, and mind. Run by an extremely sweet and caring older couple (who we now consider family), Crystal Bungalow is interesting, entertaining, and simply peaceful to stay at. Outside you are presented with lush and well cared for gardens (with lots of birds). Inside, everywhere you turn there is a new thing to discover (it’s a big like living in a beautiful and interesting museum). You are living on a small tea plantation in a colonial era home. The room was comfortable, bed very nice, water very hot. But perhaps the most meaningful thing is the connections we made to the owners. They care for you and they help you. We’ll be back!

Incredible location in the middle of the nature. A bit effort to get there - only a special tuk tuk can go the off-road way - but therefore you are away from the crowd in Ella. For people who search for a quiet place in the nature.
Food was outstanding (breakfast and dinner)

Lovely friendly care takers, great breakfast, freshly made sri lankan food, catered for our needs. Very Clean house, and room and showers. Beds had nets so can have a safe peaceful night sleep. Location very close to shops and restaurant. 10/15 mins drive to Fort station, would book again.

It was a pleasant stay at the New Dewmina holiday Bungalow. It was very clean and comfortable. Manager was extremely helpful. He picked us up (late night) from the train station and dropped us off at the station in the morning. It was raining heavily on the 2nd day we couldn't go out for dinner and he provided us with a nice dinner. All in all we had a nice stay in the hotel.
