Very comfortable and cozy local home. Close to the sea, art installations, and so easy to access. Electric bike was offered, and it's the best way to explore the island. Hosts welcome you in a way you immediately feel home. They kindly helped me with ferry tickets and transport to the other port. It definitely contributed to my amazing experience in Naoshima!

It was a charming property. We loved the ambiance of the Japanese ryokan with excellent proximity to the port and bikes can easily be stored on the property. The management was friendly and everything seemed easy to navigate in the home with English labels. Thank you for this amazing experience of comfort and culture. Highly recommend this property.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Wright Style Annex. From the outside, it looks like a white box and we weren’t expecting much. To our surprise our room was fabulous. Spacious, simple, refined quality. The two double beds pushed together were probably the most comfortable beds we have slept in. Pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast and dinner at the attached Italian restaurant Regalo were excellent. Ideally located a short walk from the bus stop. As a note for Naoshima. I wouldn’t bother with hiring a bike, just use the local bus to visit attractions. In fact you can’t cycle to the top attractions, the Benesse art area, you must leave your bikes outside the area and walk or catch the free shuttle bus.

Naoshima J-House is located in Naoshima, just a 6-minute walk from Gokaisho Art House Project and 1.1 miles from Lee Ufan Museum.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, peaceful, 5mins to town & galleries- the art house project & a bus ride to everything else. Johnny was our rescuer, picking us up in pouring rain in his van when the bus driver didn’t let us off! Thanks Johnny.🙏he is a wonderful, helpful & kind host, his English is great. We loved the tranquility of the house at night. 5 min walk to ferry.
