The host is a wonderful person. He patiently explained to us how to use facilities in the property. Whenever there is any issue in the property such as short circuit or alarm triggering off in appliances, he turned up almost instantly to assist us.
He guided us how to walk to a scenic spot nearby and he drove to check if we had any problem, worry we might lose our way.
A thoughtful host made our stay almost perfect; the only drawback was the location which is impossible to reach without driving. But a good host overwhelmed the drawback entirely.

Property is huge and we have the whole house to ourselves. Comfortable and smooth check in. We were supposed to call them when we check in but we didn’t know so one man came over to check if we are alright and also gave us information about the house and also places of interest etc. Very friendly and helpful.
I left a backpack when we checked out and they will very kind to message and communicated for a few days to have it delivered to Tokyo. Am really appreciative to their service. A great place to stay.

Due to super heavy rain, we needed to change our plan of next spot. The host sent us several suggestions even we have already left!
Dinner portion is more than enough. A really tasteful and satisfying dinner!
And the house itself is perfect for family especially having kids. Lots of space for kids burning their energy!

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Stefano is very friendly and accommodating. He made us fresh bread and jam. It’s really good!
Room is very clean and well equipped with towels, toiletries even toothbrushes. I also like that there is plenty of hangers and space to hang clothes. Space for luggage too. Fridge, kettle and coffee machine available for use. Free parking too! Convenient to visit Mt Aso and Takachiho Gorge from here.
The host was incredible, helped us plan our day. The hostel gives a really lovely rustic feeling. The indoor onsen is a delight, and everything is very clean.
The location is within a few mins of drive to nearby local amenities where there are super markets and eateries.
We were surprised to meet the owner, an Italian living in Japan for many years, a very jovial guy and speak fluent English. He recommended a few beautiful places to visit and we really enjoyed the visit.
The house is very clean. As there was only my family staying during the period and the owner open the room next door to give us more space!
