The house was spotless and had all the necessary amenities for a very comfortable stay. We loved that it’s a fusion of traditional Japanese and modern interior decor. Looks like it has just been done up. All the appliances look new. Our host is a lovely lady who showered our child and us with omiage and treats. Wish we could stay longer!

The staff was very polite and friendly (as always in Japan), very clean even if the hotel seems a bit older. We could borrow bikes for free what was really fun to cruise through Shingū.
Very clean and fairly new/well maintained accomodation. I have been to several shared bath accomodations and some have the weirdest setup that don't make sense. This place just does it. Bed is comfy and pillow has just the right height. There's proper hangers in the shower room, bins at the right spots, everything just makes sense so you'll be feeling like staying in a home instead of a hostel. Friendly and very helpful staffs to ease you through your stay and travel around the area.
The owner of this Hostel Is very helpful. He offered to pick us up at the JR station as we arrived very late at Shingu. He also allowed us to leave the luggage in the hostel so that we can go hiking with the backpack only. For the room, it was very clean and tidy. In short, it was a very pleasant stay and I will recommend this place to the future travelers
Ajito was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The shared showers and toilets were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free - we were given digital code for our room prior to arrival so it was very convenient. There were also many travel information flyers/brochures/maps available for free. Overall a very good experience!
