This is our 2nd time staying at Aquaholic, and it won't be our last. Every stay here is so relaxing and beautiful. The customer service is so inviting as soon as you arrive, and they are extremely accommodating through your stay. The house is impeccably clean, and the view is always stunning! It's great to be able to have all the walls on the back of the house open to see and hear the ocean and let in the natural light during the day. This is a wonderful gem tucked away in a private corner of Shimoda. We are already excited about our next trip to Aquaholic Iritahama!

The view is spectacular of Shimoda bay. The house was clean and comfortable. The stay was absolutely fun, beautiful and we would stay there again for sure 👍

We could check in an hour in advance, and we were glad we could meet someone when we arrived at the property, so it was very helpful that she quickly explained us about the keys.
The wifi connection was fine and we were glad some repellent was provided for insects.

Such an amazing and lively place. The staff were so kind and welcoming and the house is very clean, with a cool design and a lot of space. Our room was really nice, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful views of the hills. The shared spaces had tons of games, information books about the area and books to share. If I visit the Izu area again, I will definitely stay here. The place already looks cool on the images in booking, but in reallity is even cooler!
Great Breakfast, rooms comfortable and very clean. It takes about 5 minutes by foot to the beach. Very steep hill, so if you have a lot of luggage maybe consider a taxi (about 2300 yen from shimoda train station). Owners are very nice and helpful and speak good english. (My son had to see a doctor and the owner was so nice to drive us there and stay as an interpreter.) All in all I would defenitely stay there again.

Great rating as it met our expectations
The guesthouse is wonderful, very relaxing, with very clean rooms and super-friendly hosts! It's only a 1-minute walk from the beautiful Ohama Kisima beach. The meals are excellent and it's possible to have breakfast in the morning waiting for you in a basket in the room, great!

The guesthouse is located on a beautiful hill next to a bay. The guesthouse is built in such a way that a view over the bay is possible from the room and the very nice and well equipped common area.
The bike rental is a very nice add on to explore the surrounding beaches in the area and do some errands in the city.
Everything is very clean and well cared for. But the best feature is the host who was going the extra mile for our wellbeing and not just offer loads of tips in the area, but also for other destinations on our trip!
The window view was gorgeous and the room very clean. But that's pretty much everything, so if you plan to sit all day on your feet in the tiny room enjoying the window view, then go for it. Good Wi-Fi.
The owner offered a beach tent to freely rent which we were gratefull.

Rural in a small seaside village. Traditional, modest and very clean. Very quiet, cannot hear the traffic, just nature, excellent location, close to the beaches. Crockery available and nearby shop.
The host is a very enthusiastic person, with an interesting soul and a kind heart. When we checked in, we encountered some difficulties, and the owner was very enthusiastic to help solve them. Thank you very much. The homestay is very clean, and the host has done everything himself. It turns out that the landlord is working very hard! Like it 👍
