Very helpful host! Due to super heavy rain, we needed to change our plan of next spot. The host sent us several suggestions even we have already left! Dinner portion is more than enough. We really enjoyed our time at Garden Villa Minamiaso. It is a house with 2 floors and it is really big. From the second floor you can see the volcano Aso(if the weather is good and there is no rain). The house is very warm, because they have a lot of conditioners(~4). Kitchen has a lot of items for cooking, but we were so lazy and did not cook at all. The landlord gave us information about the places near the house(shops, thermal water, restaurants, etc.). Also he was so kind to drive us to the Sakura garden (his favorite spot) and the temple near. We really appreciate this, because we didn’t have a car. Thank you so much.

An quiet spacious country house on the forest edge with lovely views of Mt Aso. Driving & check in instructions were clear and easy (indeed Google Maps cannot be followed). Appreciated the bag of rice from the hosts as well as various information such as the nearby hike. There are only two Western single beds, more travelers will have to enjoy the futon instead.
