Feeling Home & Away, located at the hill side. The villa is fully furnished with all needed essential. Check in was easy and car park conveniently located at the house entrance. Certainly will recommend this lovely villa.

Very beautiful villa. It was very clean and well-equipped. The staff services were excellent despite the language barrier! The distance was far but no regrets. We witness snowing and the family had great fun.

Location was great! albeit rather remote but thats not really a bad thing as it was really quiet and serene.
We knew about the sauna but didn't realise that the bath was also using onsen water so it was a nice surprise.

Really amazing house and location. We didn't walk to the nearby onsen town, but it is walkable (a bit of a hill), and there are many walking trails around the house. This house has a fence for dogs but we didn't travel with pets and found it made a great yard for our kids to play. The onsen bath in the house is great and there is plenty of space.

The facility seems like it was recently constructed. The interior is clean, nice and cozy. The onsen is clean and as a beutiful view on the mountain especially in the morning with the sunrise. Definitly coming back here next time as well.

Very clean cut and modern deco. Interior was clean and kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and small kitchen appliances. There is also a soak bath and sauna within the bathroom.
Very nice hospitality of staff and authentic service with true ryokan experience. Tasty food dishes for both dinner and breakfast. The public onsen has an indoor and outdoor bath, the latter having a really nice atmosphere due to the natural surroundings. Although we had no private bathroom, the room was large, very clean, silent and comfortable overall.
Tuck away in a seculded place away from the main street of Kurokawa Onsen Area. Ryokan is very clean, room is big and comfortable. Omakase dinner is delicious. There are private onsens for rental if you want some privacy.
Mum and I had the best time here. The staff are all so friendly and wonderful, wished we spoke Japanese to express our gratitude.
The place is very clean and the food is delicious. We've stayed at a number of onsen places during our 3 week trip and this was the best and the most pleasant stay.
We also enjoyed the free sake after dinner at the fireplace.

Staff service were all good and fast. The lady front counter host is very hospitable. Room is big and clean. And bedsheet is very clean and neat. I really appreciate that they send me to the bus stop in a car which is a great help. Breakfast is great and I can tell that they put it a lot of effort in every area. Location is not far from the bus stop.
