Very clean and super comfortable! You can tell a lot of thought was put into this cottage for the comfort of the guest. We slept great in the tatami room.

The interior and design gives me a holiday home vibe, like when you stay in your grandparents house. We walk around the neighborhood happily like a kid. The room and the toilet are exceptionally clean. The sento and hot tub are very nice. Satoshi san and his family are very welcoming, they treat us like a family friend instead of guest. I stayed there with my friends for Fuji Rock Festival and Satoshi san provide pick up and transfer service from hotel to Echigo Yuzawa station for free. Arigatō gozaimasu.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, less than 1 min walk to the gondola. Very very clean. So nice to have a massage chair in the lobby free to use.
