The villa is well equipped and well maintained. The garden is beautiful. It’s very quiet at night so you can have a good rest. During the day you could see Mt. ASO from the living room.
The owners are very very nice and friendly. Since we arrived in the evening, most of the restaurants were already closed. He helped us finds the ones that were opened and even called the restaurant to tell them that we were going there. He personally lead us in his car to show us a place with a really really good view.
All in all, beautiful place very nice owner. I’ll definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

The location of the house with such beautiful scenery was the highlight. We utilized the BBQ on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and it was quite nice to have. The view while grilling of the volcano was really nice. The home was clean and the kitchen and dining area was quite large. There is a washing machine that also dries the clothes which made it nice to not have to pack so much. The tub was quite sophisticated where you can set the temperature and it would automatically fill. It is good to note that the home is located in the geo park so there are no grocery stores nearby so it is good to get your BBQ supplies and food before arriving to the home.

This is a very nice home. It was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. It is a relaxing place to stay. Nice view too. They had soy sauce, oil, salt and pepper on hand, and left a gift of rice for our use.

We loved this place, very clean and new (we stayed in the little house with two adjacent rooms). Great views from the rooms. Little nice garden outside. Very kind hosts who provided us with rice balls for our trip when we left. Road to house is small and narrow but no problem for our medium sized car.
The room is spacious and very clean, it is overlooking the mountain. The bath tub in the bathroom is big and we like the tatami floor. It has a small kitchen if you need to heat up something. The location is very serene and the host and hostess are very friendly.
Beautiful accommodation and very clean. Everything we were hoping for. Regarding transportation - you can book a taxi from the ryokan, they will provide you the information when you arrive 🙂
Entire family home was very clean and hosts were super friendly. We ordered the bbq dinner and they had everything setup for us. The view was excellent from the rooms as well.

Very clean, very comfortable, in a secluded and quiet location very deep into a place that looks like wilderness but turned out to be very nice and quaint. Was hoping to see stars in the night sky but too bad it was raining and very cold.
We stayed in 3 different places in the area and Ryokoji was by far the best. We had 2 bedrooms and a living room. Everything very clean and nice. We don’t eat meat and we are very picky eaters but the food they served us was amazing. So many dishes so tasty and very healthy. We ate dinners at other hotels but nothing compared to this one. And the breakfast was quite a pice of art! We are sorry we didn’t book 3 nights at this place instead of just one.
Quite a unique experience and very happy we went there. Thank you for your hospitality!
