The host family was very nice and made us a delicious japanese breakfast. Furthermore they made great restaurant recommendations. The house is stylishly furnished and has a beautiful view to the valley and the Aso mountains.

We loved this place, very clean and new (we stayed in the little house with two adjacent rooms). Great views from the rooms. Little nice garden outside. Very kind hosts who provided us with rice balls for our trip when we left. Road to house is small and narrow but no problem for our medium sized car.
The room is spacious and very clean, it is overlooking the mountain. The bath tub in the bathroom is big and we like the tatami floor. It has a small kitchen if you need to heat up something. The location is very serene and the host and hostess are very friendly.
Beautiful accommodation and very clean. Everything we were hoping for. Regarding transportation - you can book a taxi from the ryokan, they will provide you the information when you arrive 🙂
Entire family home was very clean and hosts were super friendly. We ordered the bbq dinner and they had everything setup for us. The view was excellent from the rooms as well.

Very clean, very comfortable, in a secluded and quiet location very deep into a place that looks like wilderness but turned out to be very nice and quaint. Was hoping to see stars in the night sky but too bad it was raining and very cold.
