We really enjoyed staying here. The house is extremely modern and beautiful. It was great for our large group. All the facilities were great. It was a very comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the proximity to the town and the beach. The location is great. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful traditional house, with some lovely design touches and a very well equipped kitchen with delicious coffee and tea available. We enjoyed a wander down to the river and submersible bridge, and took a Canadian canoe onto the river - very relaxing, with stunning scenery.
Kenji was an excellent host; helpful, informative and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here - we found it a very calming place and enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely.

My partner and I loved this house! We were greeted by Seiko who gave us the key and she was the perfect host during our stay. The house is a renovated akiya and it has been done to such a high standard! It is so comfortable and we had a really great time! There is also a really cute coffee shop next door and the lady who runs it sells great coffee and food, and is really friendly!
The location is fantastic as it is so close to the nature in the region in order to get out and explore! We had a motorcycle and it was great to be located on the edge of the city so that we could head out on adventures! All in all, I would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in Shimanto City!
