As depicted by the photos, this is a great newly built property in a new residential project slightly out of town. It's a kids-friendly neighbourhood with a nearby small kids' park and playground.
Home is clean and nicely done with all the needed appliances and equipment. The tatami room was great addition especially as we were travelling with a 7 month old baby.
The host put in the extra effort to make sure we were comfortable and went out of her way to get us additional kids-safe mosquito repellent
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The hotel room is spacious and very clean. Feels more luxurious than a regular business hotel. Facilities are also very new. There are ice machine, coin laundry and vending machines available. Luggage storage is also available before check in and after check out.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very kind and friendly. Amazing view of Kumamoto Castle from my room and from the rooftop terrace. Location was very good, many restaurants, coffeeshops and shops around. Very nearby to the Castle.
Hotel looks and feels new, room was very clean and comfortable. Ample space for opening of luggage and sofa for sitting around (some hotels we stayed were so cramp we didnt have space for opening of luggage). Having a 7-11 few steps away from the hotel was really nice and convenient for late night snacks and essentials.
Great location if using as a base to travel to other parts of Kyushu - directly next to train station and close to shopping malls with good range of groceries.
