One of the highlights of our accommodation was the private hot spring. The rooms adorned with tatami mats were exceptionally beautiful. The entire house was so beautiful and we thorough enjoyed every moment of our stay.

It’s a great house with a beautiful view over the town. Very steep to get to but the road is fine and I had no issues driving up and down. the bath worked perfectly and I enjoyed relaxing in it as often as I could (which was twice a day!) lol
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The Hot springs itself (men and women) were awesome. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was amazing. Nice clean private seating area to enjoy your breakfast. The staff is amazing. Very polite and efficient. The owner speaks very good English(very helpful for foreigners who don't understand/speak Japanese). Very good parking space. The timings for private reservations for the hot springs are convenient. Very clean toilet and shower area.
We stayed two nights on the breakfast & dinner plan. Food was exceptional. We left all meals absolutely stuffed on delicious food. Ingredients where often locally sourced and the menu changed completely between the two days.
The private stone bath attached to the room was huge and very comfortable. Water temperature was easily adjustable. And other than a little debris from the stone which is natural everything was very clean.
Staff were lovely and very accomodating.
I would definitely visit again when I have the chance.
