We were a little worried when we saw the outside of the accommodation but it was incredible! The inside matched all of the pictures. The accommodation was spacious for a family of 5, beautifully decorated and so cozy. The bathing area was amazing. We absolutely loved the history of the house and the time the host spent on arrival teaching us about the samurai history. My 18 year old history lover enjoyed every minute of it! It was an easy walk from the train station and the Kanazawa tourist loop bus that runs from the front of the train station. The host was fantastic, so kind and helpful. We would absolutely recommend this house!!

The use of a digital lock wasa bit fiddly but gave so much privacy. You could leave by just closing the door without having to check out!
the house was generously spacious with a dining area and hall where the family could gather and that was great.
The townhouse was comfortable though a little cold but it had great airconditioning in the rooms. the kitchen was well equipped including a steam oven. After getting the hang of it, found it better than microwave!

The staff was very accommodating. They even let us drop off our bags early so we could explore for a few hours before check in. Really enjoyed our stay in this machiya townhouse.

Beautiful wooden log house with so many facilities and amenities. We love the big screen and video games. The house was very clean and comfortable. Very value for money.
