It was up to date and immaculately clean. The host, Attilio, had a bottle of bubbles waiting on the table for us and he was most welcoming and helpful. Everything worked properly and it was close to the station, lake, ferry terminal and restaurants.

We liked everything! Tha place has a unique atmosphere, it's nicely decorated, cosy and comfortable. It's a three-storey apartament located in an old building overlooking the see from one side. The view from the upstairs bedroom is amazing! There house is equiped excellently! The host thought of everything to satisfy all the guests' needs. Apart from obvious devices there is also Lavazza coffee machine with plenty of coffee capsules, plenty of different types of tea and some jam and honey, salt and pepper and some spices, there is even pasta in case you run out of food😅 The contact with the host was great, he speaks very good English and writes back or phones you to give you assistance in need.

This is a very quaint and traditional Italian house. It is well appointed with a lovely outside eating area. It is in a very quiet area approximately 20 minutes from Bellagio centre. Our host, Giulia is really accommodating and allowed us a little extra time for us to check out. She also gave us a recommendation for a lovely restaurant. Bellagio is such a wonderful place!

It was an interesting journey to the past, the old house is in the centre of a partly medieval, very unique settlement, hidden magic on a hill next to the Como lake. The house is original Naggio style, gives a good nostalgie, with 21th century comfort, with all kitchenware machines, brand new showers, comfortable beds. All of us slept like babies. The location of Casa alle fontane is amazing - up a pedestrians-only stone street at the top of the village, it's a classic house on a steep hill with a beautiful view over Lake Como from the top-floor windows and balcony. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a kitchen and sitting area. Unfortunately we were only there for one short night so could not enjoy the kitchen or relax a little.

The host were lovely and very welcoming and accomodating. They showed us where everything was. It was very clean. The apartment is in a great location, close to restaurants, train station, ferry port, and within 5 minute walk of Varenna town square.

Location was great. Very clean and comfortable and air con worked very well. Well appointed kitchen although we didn't actually cook. There was just a lovely feel to the place and nicely decorated.
Lovely family run hotel, lovely lakeside room with balcony. Everything very clean and room cleaned daily which we wasnt expecting.
All staff very friendly and went out of our way to help us get back to the airport when transport was down due to a landslide.
