Nice clean apartment. In a small village in the mountains, you need a car/ scooter for shopping, trips or beach. Sufficient equippment, including wasching machine. No dishwasher and kettle, if anybody mind.
Host is very nice, Italian is an advantage.

The house is a fantastic place with direct view of the harbor, located on a small hill right next to Napoleon summer villa (5 min walk). Surrounded by a beautiful and well-kept garden, provides a lot of privacy and close proximity to Portoferraio. The host (Christina) was available on the phone, while Germana and her husband were available on site. What wonderful couple they are! Full of energy, good humor and very helpful! They made our stay very pleasant over the xmas break and made us feel like at home. House has all amenities, including dishwasher and outside grill. All is simple, elegant and easy to use. High quality large refrigerator and dishwasher. Parking for car is right next to the house on a separate driveway. Beds were very comfortable and large. Ideal for families or group of friends. House can be heated in the off season. Truly a charm that made our trip to Elba unforgettable.

The house was as expected in regard to rooms. There was enough space.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was excellent and there were couple of choices which you could choose from. The beach was about 30 meters from the entrance and was clean. You couldnt find a single pease of garbage. There were not so many people besides the weekend but that wasnt disturbing either.
