I chose Gondola House because of the previous reviews and I am happy I did. The location was perfect for us, two adults and two kids, 11 and 9 years old. Away from the noise and tourists of Venice but close enough to be there by bus in 20 mins. It’s 13 mins from the airport, if you have an early flight is perfect.
On the main street opposite the bus stop, there is a butcher shop, bakery and fruit/veggie store. On the opposite direction there is a big groceries store, everything in walking distance from the house.
We were welcomed by Massimo, the owner. He showed us around the house and gave us tons of useful information and tickets to go to Venice. He advised us on a transportation strike scheduled for Friday, we were able to switch days on our plans.
The house is big, clean, comfortable, everything you need for a vacation. Decorated with style, thanks to Monica, I am guessing. We easily made breakfast and dinner at the house.
Parking is on site.
We drove to Cortina d’ Ampezzo the first day for a nice hike near Sorapis lake, second day in Venice walking around, gondola ride and view of the city from the tower in Piazza San Marco. Third day trip to Mount Grappa and Lego expo for the kids (Mostra di Costruzioni di Mattoncini Lego). Last day was Murano, Burano and Torcello tour.
This is our third time in Venice and we are looking forward in coming back in the future and for sure we will stay at Gondola house again.

This property is really beautiful BUT the smell emanating from the bathroom throughout the property is dreadful.
The property is freezing cold to the point nobody could sleep.
It has really good reviews and I do not take it lightly doing this review but I just need to warn others and I suspect it may not have been used in the winter months hence the smell and cold.
In the Stazione Mestre district of Mestre, close to M9 Museum, Casa Bianca has a garden and a washing machine. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

The villa was roomy and comfortable for the 8 of us and it felt like home. The property was close to the station which made it easy to explore Venice and other cities in the region. The host Tiziano was there to welcome us and answer any questions we may have had. He was available the answer queries promptly, was warm and friendly. Thank you Tiziano for a wonderful stay. He was truly exceptional.

It's a beautiful property, an absolute gem. It is clean, relatively spacious and well maintained. We loved waking up to the scenery outside. Staff is very nice and cheerful, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious too. I am definitely going back there!

Location is excellent, just 5 mins walk from St Marks Square. Property is very clean, charming and had everything we needed. The communication from the owners was very helpful, from how to get from the airport to the accommodation, to gondola rides, checkin, sights to see. Can't fault our stay, thank you so much.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
10/10 place to stay! The room was spacey, very clean and the atmosphere unique. We had a bathroom on suite and the room had an AC. The Trattoria below serves awesome food and Dario the owner was the most amazing host! We received a welcome drink and he gave us wonderful recommendations for visiting Venice. The place is located in the vineyards, super quiet and free parking. Bus station directly to Venice is located just 8 mins walk away. This is definitely the place to stay for a relaxed Venice trip!
Very clean, furniture and bathroom are new. Enough towels. There is air conditioning. For 7 euros we got a pretty good breakfast. Free parking in the courtyard under guard.
The room was small but very clean and had everything you need for a stay. The staff was nice and there is free parking provided. It is 10min drive out of venice, 25min drive to outlet and aprox 40min away from caribe bay. Great location amazing way to visit venice or other attractions close by.
We stayed here due to proximity to the airport, but the hotel would be worth to consider even for a stay in Venice. Very close to public transportation, which brings you both to Venice downtown and the airport . It featured a very clean room and bathroom for a really low price, considering the area. Although the reception area needs some extra care and smells funny, the hotel location, cleanliness and price make it a place worth considering.
