Very nice apartment which was a good size with plenty of plug sockets. Great breakfast and a coffee machine with milk frother for cappuchino. Very lovely hosts. Very cute and friendly little dog, cat and chickens who were ready to say hello when we came outside in the morning. Castiglione D'Orcia is only 5 mins in the car and is a stunning village with breathtaking views and fantastic restaurants.

It really is a home away from home. Very tasteful decorated, it has everything one can need for a short or a long stay. Extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming place to be. It is situated right at the entrance in the old Montalcino. The host was carefully and very friendly and polite. We loved everything about Poggio Al Vento , we only wish we had known as we would have stayed our whole break here . Amazing views all round , lovely spacious rooms , everything we needed for cooking , very clean and just all round a lovely place to stay , bonus of a swimming pool which looks over the whole of the valley x

You don't feel alone in a silence location but you are just by yourself in the nature also. So they give you what you need. Very clean, very silence, great view, very comfortable accommodation.
The quiet beautiful surroundings looked out in all directions over the typical Tuscan countryside. The pool was large and still accessible in mid-October. Antonio and his wife are very helpful. The house was very clean. Mosquito netting everywhere in front of the windows. If you love a quit surroundings and lovely landscapes, then I can recommend this house very much.

More than one month has elapsed, but we recall Il Pozzo as a very nice place. Beautiful setting, a bit isolated but actually quite close to the Via Francigena.
Very clean. 2 WC's for 2 rooms, a luxury. The landlady kindly provided us with milk for breakfast (which is not included), and directions for the following day. Friendly dog, Rei!
