Easy self check in and the host was very communicable via chat, kept us updated on everything. The house is renovated inside. So although it looks old from the outside, it's very comfortable and modern inside. Lots of amenities inside. Wish we had more time to stay here as we arrived pretty late and left pretty early as we didn't get the chance to fully take advantage of everything.

An incredible find! The house is beautiful inside and set in a stunning location—glacier on one side, the sea on the other. Perfect location for seeing the peninsula. Would be thrilled to stay there again.

These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
We really adored the concept of this hostel. ☺️ A big community living space and kitchen access but at the same time very private and comfy bedrooms. It’s perfect if you wanna get in touch with other travelers but still enjoy your privacy. We also really loved the fully equipped kitchen and the very clean community bathroom. The whole space definitely gives you that home coming feeling after a long day of traveling. We would absolutely come back! :)

Very good communication with owner before my arrival - i recieved all instruction on mail. Location and parking are good, also the area is nice. Very clean bathroom.

Amazing location, very remote with super views. You are right next to one of the last remaining LW transmitters so it feel very adventurous, but very cosy at the same time. Warm and pleasant cosy temperature inside. Very very clean. There were actually 4 bedrooms, a very large living room and one bathroom. I would stay here again with some slight improvements to facilities.
It is dream house in middle of sea and mountain. Living room is very comfortable- you have Netflix, you can listen to music, relaxing sofa, nice decoration in house, tradicional icelandic board games (very interesting for my child). Kitchen has everything you wish for- microwave, water heater, toaster... Very clean.
Laundry room- washing maschine, dryer.
Big windows- you can watch mountains and horses around house.
It is the best accomodation we have ever been not just in Iceland but in other countries too.
We absolutely loved it here and spend 3 nights there! Unfortunately because of a sever storm the power went out on the entire peninsula twice on one of the days, but the hosts immediately informed us about it and kept us up to date.
The cottage was also extremely well maintained and everything was very clean!
