These cottages were in a great location that allowed us to have amazing views of the Northern Lights!! It was far enough away from the town while still being easy to get to. It was easy to check in at the restaurant. The staff was friendly and invited us to the New Year's Eve party they were having that night. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

This unassuming little cabin is a gem inside. Cute decor, everything you could want in the kitchen for utensils. The BEST flannel covered down comforter!! I could lounge in the bedroom while my daughter could binge some Netflix in the living room. Then we bundled up, stepped out on the front porch and looked for auroras.

Off the beaten path so perfect for seeing the Northern Lights (we didn't though, sadly). Cute little studio with lots of light through big windows. Kitchen could've used a couple more items to be fully functional, but was sufficient.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Location is very good. Very nice surroundings near the mountains. The pods were also really nice and were heated. The common room was very clean and the people that stayed there were all nice and talkative. The kitchen was well equipped and there was enough space to hang around.
Everything was absolutely perfect. The view is just incredible, the vila is brand new and very clean and tidy. David (the host) was very helpful and available for any questions we had. Hands down our best accommodation in Iceland!
The views from the 'pod' guesthouse was superb of the distant mountains and Selfoss. Very clean, well organised and attentive friendly communication. We were upgraded to the larger size with a separate bedroom that was perfect for 3. The kitchen was well equipped, with a great one ring induction hob.
Very enjoyable place, well located. the camping pods were comfy and very clean. The central facilities building was in perfect condition, looking like it went through some recent renovation. Highly recommended.
It was a little hard to find the location since there was no signage for Starlight Camping Pods. We arrived in the dark so it would have been better to have used the Holiday homes name or improve signage.
The main facility area was great for making our own food and lots of tables for everyone to use. It was very clean and guests were all very respectful
Beautiful location with cozy, private cabins. The facilities were clean and stocked with all of the kitchen supplies we could need. We had difficulty finding the location and needed to ask for directions. It's the neighboring lodging but set your destination as "Welcome Holiday Homes" in Evindarhólar in Google Maps and you'll find the pods!
