The hot tub was easy to use and had great mountain views, perfect for getting warm after a day outside in January. The cottage was very comfy with a modern look inside. Communication with the hosts was easygoing, with infos on northern lights, fireworks and bonfires in the area. We did absolutely enjoy our stay and would always book again!

Beautiful views from the pods. The pods are very simple with just a bed, table and two chairs. In the main area: enough toilets and showers, big kitchen with equipement and it was warm and clean. Great place to experience a more basic and grounded feeling of Iceland.

We spent 3 unforgettable days in this wonderful house. It is a house renovated with great care and beautiful details. All the rooms are beautiful and have large windows from which you can see an amazing landscape, we also saw the Northern Lights :-) The location was perfect for us, isolated but easily accessible. Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
We liked the location of the Holiday Homes. Being near Skogafoss and Vik was perfect for traveling to and from the area. The kitchenette was more than functional as we cooked breakfast every morning. It had everything that was needed.
