Beautiful place with a stunning view of Reykjavik. A hot tub with thermal water feels amazing especially when the weather is cold. Huge comfy beds and lovely kitchen/ dining room/living room. Loved the sauna. The host was very kind and showed us around when we checked in. He was also available for any questions we had about the property. The place is huge and has lots of shelves and wardrobes to store your clothes and luggage. It's a short drive to the city centre and the grocery stores (around 10-15 minutes)

We simply felt welcome. As if we knew the owner, Erla, and she left the house for a while so that we could move in for our stay. The house was absolutely clean, nicely decorated, cosy, with comfortable beds, stylish furniture and generously equiped kitchen. It also has a terrace with a grill. The grocery shop is just a kilometer or so away, there is plenty room to park your car(s) in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay to the max.

The property was fantastic - very clean and with excellent facilities. A lovely home away from home. A very cosy and comfortable place to return to after a day's exploring. Our host Thora was brilliant and always at hand to help with anything, from tips on where to eat, places to visit and so on. We loved our stay and won't stay anywhere else should we return! Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The room was very clean, modern, warm and cozy and the location is unique and looks like a small village with tiny houses all around. Also the hot tub is perfect for relaxing 🛁

The apartment was a fantastic place to stay, with an exceptional view outside that added to its charm. The room was very clean and the water was nice. The beds were also very comfortable.
This Hotel's location is a gem if you want to see the Northern Lights. We booked it because we wanted to be somewhere dark and try to see them, which we managed to do on the only night we were there. We couldn't believe our luck! The ocean views all around are gorgeous as well, both by day and night.
Our room was very clean and quite modern, with a fresh and clean toilet as well. Check-in went smoothly even though there was no staff on sight, since they simply left the key inside and we could arrive whenever we wanted.
Very cosy apartment in a great location (outside of Reykjavik, but still close enough)! Very clean and very well equipped. The breakfast is just fantastic! Everything fresh and made with love!
We only stayed at the Hlid fishing village for one night and unfortunately arrived in the dark and left in the middle of a crazy storm so we didn't get to make the most of it. However the room was lovely, large and had windows on both sides, so you could make the most of the views to sea. It was very clean, and offered everything you need.
