The staff Binu Phillip and Deepa were always smiling and so hospitable. Binu helped us book the kathakali and kalripayatuu tickets. He helped us with the spice shopping and saved atleast 1000 -1500 rs. They made our stay very memorable

Nestled beside a picturesque, winding road in Thekkady, this spacious 3 BHK home occupies the first floor of a G+1 villa. Our host, Ms. Reena, was exceptionally warm and went out of her way to ensure our comfort throughout our visit.
The house features a well-equipped kitchen with a gas connection and essential utensils, air-conditioned bedrooms, a separate dining hall, a drying stand, and a spacious living room. The compound is large enough to accommodate even a Tempo Traveller.
We enjoyed delicious meals delivered quickly from a nearby hotel, adding to the convenience of our stay. Ms. Reena and her family also run a spice store, where their deep knowledge and wide selection of spices, oils, and soaps provide valuable guidance for those interested in local products.

Everything was perfect, incredible hospitality from the staff (special thanks to Adel and Anthony!), very helpful. This is a little paradise in busy India. Very clean and beautiful guest rooms, wonderful view from our balcony (monkey's in the morning).
service is exceptional. hotel was very clean, views were breathtaking. breakfast was good, alot of traditional south indian breakfast food so be prepared for it as its not an all out western buffet breakfast. hotel was close to main town area.

Jobin, Binsi and their family were amazing hosts. Extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Including organising a cooking class, spice tour and transport for us as well as helping with booking activities within Periyar National Park. The homestay was very clean and well kept with lovely terraces to sit on and have breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Thekkady/Kumily.
