The hosts were amazing. It was a very homely feeling we got. They went out of their way to prepare dinner and breakfasts for us at our convenience. The boat drive was beautiful. They even let my child drive the boat for a bit.

The rooms are clean

Our recent stay at Anandam Stays was truly exceptional and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by the premium feel of this beautifully designed homestay, which effortlessly combines the traditional charm of Kerala with modern amenities. The attention to detail in the décor was nothing short of magnificent, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The 3BHK accommodation was not only plush but also thoughtfully arranged, showcasing a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Each room was tastefully decorated, reflecting the rich heritage of Kerala while incorporating the conveniences we desired. It was a delight to unwind in such a serene environment after a day of exploration. A standout aspect of our experience was the warmth and hospitality of our host, Shri Ramachandra Panicker, a retired IAF officer. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. To our surprise, he patiently waited for us until 11:30 PM to guide us to the homestay and personally welcome us. His kindness and dedication to his guests were evident from the start. Ramachandra ji also took it upon himself to facilitate our plans for temple darshan and my son's Annaprasham ceremony. He even entrusted a friend to assist us, which truly showcased his commitment to making our stay comfortable and fulfilling our cultural needs. One of the highlights of our trip was the Kerala Sadhya that he arranged for us. Even though unplanned but we had the pleasure of enjoying this authentic feast with him at his home on the ground floor. The flavors, the variety, and the warmth of sharing a traditional meal with our host made it an unforgettable culinary experience. Additionally, I must commend the flexibility of the hosts. They kindly extended our checkout time without any additional cost, a gesture that emphasized their dedication to guest satisfaction.

Home location and neatness of surroundings

The house and garden are beautiful! The pool is a shallow plunge pool that was kept very clean and was perfect for hot afternoons. The staff was very accommodating for anything we asked for, arranging cars, massages, meals, and buying beer and wine for us each day. You just have to ask! They are great cooks! Rooms were cleaned on request. Hot water and AC worked great! Wi-Fi too (although I wouldn’t work remotely with it as it sometimes disconnected). We would happily stay here again! It was so nice to have the entire property to ourselves. I would say it’s the equivalent of a 3.5 star hotel in India if you’re familiar with other hotels on that scale, but felt more like an Airbnb since we had the whole place.

The location was absolutely amazing. The rooms were clean and hygienic. Food was really good, it was all home cooked and served with a lot of care.

Stay was near to beach but parking should be done little far (about 500 m) from stay. People of home stay were very friendly and supportive and responsive and good hospitality. Breakfast was provided according to our wish.

Had a pleasant stay at Brothers Home Stay. The rooms as well as the bathrooms are big, neat and clean. The hosts Mr. Harilal and his wife made us very comfortable and were excellent hosts. The location is good and Mr. Harilal has a network of people who can deliver food or arrange transport.
