The comfort of the place was incredible! The place was beautiful and the owners are lovely. We were out late the night we stayed and there was no issues driving in to the property so late at night! They were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Lovely cottage warm and comfortable.Turf fire burning when we arrived . Electric blankets on the beds. You can boost the heat if needed but it was snowing outside and we were warm enough. Lovely hot showers .Spotlessly clean ,full kitchen including dishwasher .Communication with owner excellent.

The size of the property was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of showers and bathrooms so getting ready to go out for the day was stress free. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very quick and helpful when we needed advice. The property was secluded but we found this ideal for seeing more of the beautiful countryside while exploring. The pub within walking distance was great value for meals and had exceptional views.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The breakfast was outstanding. Actually made the stay there worthwhile. The lady who served the breakfast was also lovely.

Very friendly host who helped pick restaurant. There was also some breakfast bits and plenty of coffee provided. It was very clean and well maintained. It was a short walk to restaurant options and had a nice view of the marina.
Our stay at Shannonside exceeded our expectations! David ensured we had everything we needed and was a fantastic host. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is very scenic, right on the river and within walking distance of some great pubs and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!
Breakfast was excellent as much as you want to eat. The standard was excellent very clean and staff were very friendly I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Very happy.
