Unfortunately the lock was broken by previous guest so no lock on door. As we stay in Ballyshannon with family often locking doors isn't really an issue, so wasn't overall concerned. The accommodation was great met our needs and our dogs.

The option to have a fire was particularly lovely because of the cold weather. The cottage had everything you could need and was very comfortable. The host even left us a thoughtful bottle of wine and treats! We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cosy, quiet place in the country that's still convenient to towns.

Property is stunning so deceiving from the outside. Has loads of space. The kitchen is beautiful. Had everything we needed. Will defo stay here again be amazing in the summer. The owner was amazing with message replies, directions given very informative and was straight run from Belfast. We also ate at the rusty mackerel as recommended it’s around 30mins from the house defo worth the journey food and service was unreal. There is a garage literally right beside the house with an amazing deli. Fintra Beach was beautiful also around 20mins drive weather was amazing. Overall we just chilled in the house it was perfect

We loved the pod, it was the perfect size. It felt snug and inviting.
The views are great and it's a short walk to the beach. I went for a run to the beach and back which was only 5k.
The bed was great, and the shower was lovely. The pod has a nice fresh wood smell.
The host is great, very friendly and offers directions and local landmarks. They obviously have a lot of pride as the pods are very clean and tidy.
Fantastic little pod with a big welcome, exactly as the owners said. We loved our stay, the pod was very clean, comfortable, warm, and had everything you could possibly need for a weekend away (or even longer).
