I loved the setting of the cottage in a woodland, very quiet and peaceful. I especially liked being off grid with no wifi, found that to be very restful. The cottage was old world and quaint. Beds very comfortable. Hans and Martina were very friendly, they kindly allowed us access when we arrived a few hours early.

We had to stay an extra night due to a family emergency.The lady Margaret was fantastic. She couldn’t do more for us and we can’t thank her enough.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Great communication from the owner around instructions for self check in. We had a family room (2 adjoining rooms really) which were exactly what we needed. Rooms were very clean and there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Was great to have the kitchen to make breakfast as we had an early start for the ferry. Would stay here again. Thank you.
Everything was fantastic, our host could not have been more accommodating, she let us in early and allowed us to stay beyond normal checkout time. The house is fabulous, very spacious, super clean, Everything we could possibly need to have a great holiday was provided. Tons of clean towels, stacks of pots and pans and kitchen utensils, three showers, beds very cosy. The estate is lovely, loads of holiday cottages, about a 15 min walk to the town and a great shop only 5 mins away. We had a fabulous holiday!
Nice clean house with shared living room and kitchen facilities, private bathroom; all very clean. Comfortable bed and great location for a stopover before or after the ferry, with some nice pubs nearby. Bedroom itself was a decent size with tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water.
