The overall size of the house. Everything we needed was available and the house was very clean. Mary, the manager, was very approachable and helpful. The position of the house is excellent and the views were great - sunrise was exceptional as the background to the harbour.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Victoria's house was the ideal location for our three-day getaway with friends. The location was exactly what we were looking for - remote but accessible, close to the beach and countryside and within 10-15 minutes drive of larger towns. The house is very clean, welcoming and comfortable. Victoria provided us with local tips and really made our trip a success! Thank you so much!
The view was exceptional, looking out to the vantage scenic point.
The room was very clean, the beds were phenomenally comfortable, the mattresses seemed new, bouncy and there were no dips in them.
The food at the pub was beyond expectations, the fish and chips delicious, proper crispy batter on the chips, some lovely dill in the salad.
Thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
Fabulous and unique . Old converted Victorian hunting lodge . Very clean and spacious and delightfully old fashioned, ( tho did have usb plugs in the bedroom )staff lovely and friendly.
Superb award winning gardens around the guest house and a luxury to have the run of them when closed to the public .
Lovely breakfast available and nice Thai cuisine in the restaurant in the evening.
A very special place to visit and stay at.
Location was gorgeous with a spectacular view of the sea from the rooms. Breakfast self service and free to have what you wanted. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Very good value.
The suite was big, spacious and very clean. The views from the suite were fabulous and it was very peaceful. The garden/wood was lovely after a good breakfast. The staff are very friendly. We had a lovely meal at the Thai restaurant the first evening.
Great little B&B on the most spectacular location of Ring of Kerry - Kells. The staff (especially Jack) were very helpful in giving us tips on our journey. The room itself was cosy but very clean, constant supply of hot water, heating was on and bed was comfortable enough. It's a great spot to stop for the night get dinner and a drink and head to Valentia island the next day from Kells.
