The thatched house is beautiful, very cozy inside with all the amenities needed. The surroundings are breathtaking ! The host left a Guiness bread loaf out of this world. I was remote working for a few days and the WiFi connection was great.

What a fabulous place this is, Jackie our host paid us a visit with her daughter Tara to sort out the wi-fi as we were having trouble. Soon sorted nothing was too much trouble even to the extent of sorting out somewhere that did a Sunday roast for us all. The house is nestled down a short access road on the side of a lough with great views. Such a lovely spacious place with everything you could need for your stay. We (6) had a great time, the house was perfectly located for our visits to all the local attractions.
It was great to arrive back from our visits to a warm comfortable house home from home.

A fantastic spacious cottage that has everything you might need for a great vacation. Plenty of walks around, local heritage centre, seaweed spa centre, beaches, only 15 min drive to the ferry to Aran islands. The house is warm, and it felt like home away from home. The host, Sean, was great, met us on arrival, and showed us how the heating works. No WiFi there, but decent coverage and a shared workspace with high-speed Internet closeby (5 min drive). Thank you, and I am looking forward to coming back
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
