Beautiful little cottage in achill with the back drop of the Minaun Heights and the Atlantic Ocean in front of you with 2 pubs, restaurant and coffee shop 1 minute walk away literally. The beach is only a 5 minute walk or less too.
The place was immaculately clean , the beds were very comfy, nice and warm and heats up quickly.
Our host Catherine was very accommodating and even had fresh baked scones and bread for us on arrival , highly recommend 😀

It is a fantastic place to stay, and highly recommended for families and friends. Beautiful scenery, great beaches and lots of activities for everyone!
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The house itself was comfortable and spacious. Spotlessly clean with all facilities avaliable. The location is perfect for a walk to the beach or around the nearby walking routes while also being within striking distance of all the sites that Achill Island has to offer. Would absolutely recommend to anyone We were there with a four year old who loved her holiday home and a dog who fell into her bed exhausted after the days adventure.

Very clean and confortable room. Lovely irish homemade breakfast. Sinéad was great since the first minute. The comunication was always easy and she gave us some tips about restaurants and places to go. Despite the irish summer weather, we had a lovely and resting time and will definately come back!
Really warm welcome, the Island is a special place and the property is a perfect fit for it.
Sinead gave some great advice, the bedrooms were very comfortable and very clean.
Breakfast was also just right with different options available.
We would go back tomorrow if we could!
Kevin and Maureen were exceptional hosts they made sure everything was set up for us and checked in with us via text to make sure everything was good. The house is ideally located close to the beach. Every room was very clean. All modern appliances in the kitchen in case you needed to cook. My favourite feature was in the cosy living room. There was a lovely seat where you could look out to the sea. The beds were very comfy with electric blankets. Our dogs had great space in the kitchen. I'm already looking forward to a return trip!!
Achill Water's Edge is a very clean, comfortable property.
Our room was fresh, bright and nicely furnished, with excellent en-suite facilities, particularly its great shower.
Sinéad is a most welcoming host, who offered lots of advice for local dining and things to do.
Breakfast was a treat and much enjoyed.
We plan to revisit this area again and can happily recommend Achill Water's Edge, as a lovely place to stay...
The room and bathroom were very clean, staff very friendly, superb atmosphere in the pub and good breakfast. It is in a great location, along one of the cycling routes.
