The cottage was traditional but comfortable with all the facilities we needed and in a good location for easy access to Connemara, Cong and elsewhere. There was access through the field behind down to the lake. The owners were very friendly.

What a fabulous place this is, Jackie our host paid us a visit with her daughter Tara to sort out the wi-fi as we were having trouble. Soon sorted nothing was too much trouble even to the extent of sorting out somewhere that did a Sunday roast for us all. The house is nestled down a short access road on the side of a lough with great views. Such a lovely spacious place with everything you could need for your stay. We (6) had a great time, the house was perfectly located for our visits to all the local attractions.
It was great to arrive back from our visits to a warm comfortable house home from home.
