The house was exceptional! The views from the sitting room and upper bedrooms are lovely. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We tried two of the pubs, both were great and just up the street. O'Dowds had the best food (and breakfast) but the Shamrock Bar should not be missed. The beach at Dog's Bay is just a short drive and we spent hours there swimming and walking around the head (watch for cows!). They provided milk and a few necessities, and had a coffee press. The water in the shower was hot (thank you!!) and the laundry machines were convenient.

The cottage is open, light and bright. The unadvertised 3rd level snug was excellent as a computer and reading room. This is the first place that I have found a Power Shower (normally called a powerless shower) that actually works. Great pressure and excellent temperature control. The heating worked well and the cottage was warm and cozy. WiFi was average speed but had excellent coverage throughout the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped. The property management company were responsive and key access was easy.
