The house and the location was fantastic and beautiful. We traveled with another couple and we shared one bathroom with a lovely tub and shower (which had very good water pressure). There is a half bath downstairs so one couple could put their bathroom supplies there. It was the only place we stayed (5 locations in 13 days in Ireland) that had ice cube trays in the freezer to use and refill; I absolutely LOVED that! Thumbs up for this lovely place. We did not use the kitchen, but ate breakfast at Kitty Joe's Cafe (Main Street, Mountcharles) and The Harbour restaurant and bar in Donegal. We highly recommend going to Kitty Joe's Cafe before you visit the Secret Waterfall, Muckross Head and the Slieve League Cliffs all within driving distance from this wonderful home.

Just back from an amazing 3 night stay in this holiday home. I cannot recommend this property enough. Within 20minutes of being there I was already on booking.com trying to book to stay again. Lovely spacious rooms, fantastic back garden, so convenient to the town and a lovely warm/informative welcome from the host. I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Will definitely return and have already been singing its praises to my family. Looking forward to seeing available dates again soon 😁
This review is really for the Portbeg Holiday Homes which we were upgraded to as we were told that the Ocean View's boiler had broken down. It was an amazing upgrade to a detached holiday house with spacious and fully equipped accommodation, fantastic friendly & helpful staff and a lovely scenic location right by the coast with a coastal path walk nearby which takes you into Bundoran itself. We highly recommend Portbeg Holiday Homes!
