This was one of the best stays ever. We initially booked for 5 nights but extended our stay to another night because we loved the place so much. It is a cozy house in a very private area of Barnesmore. It is the perfect place for stargazing, away from the city lights. We got lucky and even saw northern lights (although faint) just standing on the porch of the house. The entire surrounding areas were a treat for the eyes. It's great for some morning strolls. Even though the cottage is in a private secluded area, supermarkets are only a 10 minute drive away.
The hosts were really hospitable and were very prompt with all our requests and needs. They made sure we felt welcomed with a basket of some snacks. The house is the perfect place for a family of 4-5. We were two couples and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Every nook and corner of this house is absolutely fascinating and very thoughtfully designed and well kept. The two fireplaces along with a lot of board games made the stay very memorable.
The kitchen, even though it is small, was well equipped with everything that one might need. Lots of pots, pans and fine china.
A lot of things might seem old and outdated but with some patience, everything works and is in good condition.

Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Have stayed here a few times now and will be visiting again. Very polite and friendly staff, Chef went out of their way to accommodate a request even though it was very busy. Room was very clean and pool was great temp for a lovely swim
