We booked for my father's 80th birthday and as they live in Athens it was a good location as was near and the facilities at the resort where perfect for him to not have to travel much. We were extremely happy with every aspect of the hotel especially the staff (Fotini was incredible and accommodating) the beach, the accomodation and the food where fantastic for the price and we had a great stay. Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Villa Faros is a beautiful holiday home with truly spectacular views/sunsets and wonderful indoor- and outdoor spaces. The restaurants and shops in Vourkari is only a short walk away via a private trail directly of the terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice, clean and well equipped. The hosts, Devi and Mona were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay.
The location was very close to the beach. You can walk to the lighthouse by foot and the walking is very pleasant across the sea. Nearby you can eat to the local taverns. Also neaby you can find bars etc. Upon our arrival the host was there for the keys and for the tour to the room. The room was very clean and very beautiful. Every day there was a typical cleaning. Ask your host about the best locations and beaches.
