The words "guest house" do not do justice to the magical quality that awaits you at Lykou "Schloss". The living quarters seem like they are out of a fairytale and the hosts could not be more generous and helpful. Even having booked at the last minute we were warmly welcomed and shown around the property which is chamingly appointed in an eclectic mix of homey comfort and lovely antiques. Every detail has been seen to and to wake up to the spectacular views available from the massive timber balcony is the icing on the cake.

Amazing host! I was welcomed very kindly, there was cake for me in the fridge and you will get a voucher for the one and only restaurant in the village where you will also get a free drink.
The bed was very comfortable and the pillows soft. I initially booked only 2 nights but stayed one more night because I liked it so much.
It's a good place for hiking on the Melanon trail (I was driving to Stemnitsa for the hike to the monastries and another day to Dimitsana for the water museum which I can highly recommend).

The apartment was in the middle of the city. It was a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, cafes and stores. The apartment had a big balcony with a fantastic view of the mountains. When we arrived, we were pleasently surprised with a home made cake! The owner was a greek man who couldnt speak english, but we had no difficulties understanding him! We were very welcomed and the owner was such a sweet person. If we could, we would definitely choose this apartment once more when visiting the city.

Perfect location in the heart of Vytina which is great if you want to visit the surrounding areas of Mainalo mountain and trail. We only stayed one night but enjoyed a comfy big bed, very clean room with a lot of character of a high ceiling old stone house renovated in a modern style. The bathroom was small but had a great shower (I always appreciate a good shower). Vicky was very helpful giving us great advice for the area. Breakfast was good and kept us going on a long hike during the next day!
