Stunning, beautiful family house with amazing views and everything you need and more. Large social front terrace to relax on and take in the views as well as pretty private rear garden with pool. Perfect location just a few minutes walk down into town which has everything you need including great bars and restaurants and a lovely vibe. There are also plenty of lovely beaches in the area and you can hire boats or book trips from the marina. We all said we would definitely come back - we only had 3 nights and didn’t want to leave!

We are a couple who stayed in the ground floor apartment.
A previous reviewer pointed out that this apartment does not have 2 bedrooms. They are correct. It has one bedroom, one bathroom and two single beds in an open plan living room and kitchen.
The layout is unusual but quirky and very pleasant.
A large number of individual touches to the apartment make it cosy and whilst the kitchen and bathroom are on the small side they are functional and the kitchen is well stocked.
The outside space is lovely and there is plenty of outdoor seating.
There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes away and it is slightly further to the delightful harbour area with places to eat and drink.
The owner and her mother were very friendly and helpful.
There are 2 beach areas, each about a 30 minute walk from the apartment (we had no car) where swimming is possible and beach shoes are a good idea.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the host who took the time to show us around and give recommendations on fantastic beaches and restaurants.
We were given an early check-in, which was appreciated.
The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. It had a washing machine and a courtyard with a clothesline for quick drying. The balcony out the front was a nice additional space. Being October, it was lovely and quiet. We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Marika, slight hiccup on arrival which was dealt with beautifully, the property is large, comfortable, ideally located for staying in Vathy. There is a communal BBQ area that we hadn't realised when we booked but you have enough private space for this not to be a problem. I slept like a log here, the beds were fab, a real home from home and we loved seeing the owner for a little chat. It is an authentically Greek place so perhaps the bathrooms feel a little dated but they do exactly what they need to do. Aircon worked well, kitchen was nicely full of every utensil condiment that you need & always a bonus to have a coffee machine. Parking underneath if needed. Honestly a great place to stay for 2 couples. Loved the peace of the sunrises.

A cosy apartment for our short visit to Ithaca. The hosts are very generous and friendly. We were allowed early check in as ferries arrive at Ithaca at 830am.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is very convenient for making breakfast or light meals.
The location is perfectly suited for those who like the convenience of having everything a few steps away. Bicycles are available for use.
The dipping pool is a nice addition to cool off after a hot day though only our 10yr old used it.
It is a complex of 3 apartments so common areas are shared. But that was not a problem for us.
Vathy is a lovely harbour town and is quite lively in the evenings.
We had a wonderful stay!

Location was great and view from our room and balcony amazing. We liked being out of the main strip on the other side of harbour, a little quieter but close enough to walk anywhere in the town. Room was very clean.
The property is beautiful, with stunning view of the Ionian sea and also comes with a pool. The host Dina is very friendly and efficient. Room was of good size and very clean, the balcony was the highlight of our stay as you can watch the sunset behind the mountain.
Parking was also available on the property which was a plus. The room gets serviced daily, our stay was definitely an enjoyable one!
Also love to mention there are some feline staff on the property as well, very affectionate and might join you on the balcony for the sunset!
For the second year in a row we chose ithacas poem apartments, because last year we were more than satisfied with the whole experience. The apartment was spacious and it had everything anybody could ask from a vacation home, plus it's super clean. They change the sheets and towels every Three days

View of the port was amazing and terrace as well!also very clean and comfortable Stavros was so understanding of my needs and I was welcomed on the best way!will have to come back
