We really enjoyed our stay at Castle Halaros! It was so cool to have our own private courtyard and rooftop, it really felt like we were transported in time. It was nice being off the beaten path in Glinados, a less touritsy village of Naxos. The kitchen was fully stocked, the jacuzzi was easy to use, and the dining room had a great view. We enjoyed the board games, stereo, and the interesting artifacts decorating the castle. Great for the adventurous traveler. We did have a rental car to get to the beaches and is probably needed for this location. We would highly recommend staying here!

This was unexpectedly our best stay on our island hopping trip. The ACs are ice cold (unusual for Greece), the house is modern, quiet and nice and it’s a 3 minute walk from the best beach on the island. Perfect.

The house was gorgeous, even nicer than the pictures. We were impressed with how nice the house was - exposed stone walls in every room giving it much character. The location was great. Every evening we walked the 10 or so minutes to beach and ate at a different restaurant on the beach (many choices). We also enjoyed having breakfast on the patio looking at the pretty flowers in the yard (very nice yard). We also appreciated that the host drove down to the the beach to meet us and show the way to his place (a bit difficult to find) for check-in. He was also very flexible for check-out - didn't have any guests that day and let us stay in the house until late afternoon (greatly appreciated) Lastly - for my fellow Americans - the bed size more closely resembles an American queen size bed than a double bed. Overall, we highly recommend it!

From the time we booked , communication was already great. We personally met the host, Zhana when we arrived at the property. She was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful with suggestions during the duration of our stay. We were provided with all amenities including a very tasty welcome treat! Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. Best place we stayed during our visit to Greece and the islands. Great location - peaceful and opposite a lovely beach. Apartment very clean and spacious. Good breakfast with homemade pastries and jams - even got given some homemade jam to take home with us. About an hours drive from the port so need transport but definitely recommend staying here for moutsouna itself as a village and learning the history of emery mining to the fantastic unspoilt beach at panoramas.
The apartment is very close to the sea, very clean and quiet. We stayed for 10 days and the people from the village welcomed us very warmly. Nick is very kind and picked us up from Apeiranthos village with his car, which is useful if you’re traveling out of season without a car since there are no busses to Moutsouna from mid-September. We would definitely come back, and recommend this place and the beautiful unspoiled Eastern Naxos in general :D
The location of the apartment is very near to the beach and in a small and calm village. There is a minimarket, three restaurants and a bakery but nothing more, only the beautyful beach. The apartment has a very clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. It's not that big but you have enough space. The balcony goes out towards the street.

A traditional, autonomous house next to the sea. Very clean. Fully functional with all kitchen appliances one could think of. We even used the washing machine to freshen up our sea-towels and t-shirts, since we have been on the road for 10 days before Naxos. We travelled with our two kids (8,12) and a dog. Ideal place for quiet, relaxed vacations. Our hosts had the fridge full with fruits, home-made jam, local cheese etc. In the summer, you can pick your own fruits from the garden (fig tree was full and grapes super tasty). Highly recommended!
