Excellent host, wonderful space and a very confortable and enjoyable stay. The garden is beautiful and the house itself is so nice and clean. It's a short drive to Ierapetra and the beaches and restaurants there. I couldn't recommend Arhondia House highly enough, we'll be coming back next summer.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Everything, great location, large roomy apartment, plenty of space, 2 shower rooms very clean great location parking in front . the lady who cleans and looks after the rooms is wonderful,so helpful and keeps them spotless.
Everything you read in the other reviews is true. This is one of those hotels that you will add to a special list and vow to return. The room looked out onto a quiet street with a small terrace. The bed was comfy, everything worked and was very clean. The breakfast served by very friendly staff was exceptional with everything imaginable included and brought to your table on a tray. All in all a wonderful couple of days feeling very looked after.
The location on top of the hill (a fantastic view of the country side and the sea). The quietness and space of the surroundings although on a plot of various holidayhomes. A very kind and interested host. Mirtos is absolutely an interesting place for holiday seekers that are interested in a calm and quiet, old fashioned style Greek beach village. Very few young people but not loaded with pensionados either. The weather was also ok.
The room had new bed ,very comfortable and a great view of the mountains.The pool needs some renovation though very clean and refreshing cool water. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The apartments are in a good location in the village near to the supermarket but still only a short stroll to the beach. They are exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need and are very clean and well maintained. Joanna is a vey welcoming and helpful host thanks for the gifts of sweets and cake. Mirtos is one of our favourite places to stay in
Crete and we hope to be back next year and to Myrthe apartments.
