Staying at the Giaglakis Rooms was delightful! Host Maria was warm and extra hospitable. We felt very comfortable and cared for in her home. The apartment was well supplied with everything we needed, including a very large and lovely terrace overlooking the bay. The terrace was indeed exceptional! The location was spectacular: we could walk to the beach and restaurants a short distance away. Sifnos also exceeded our expectations for swimming, hiking and touristing around. The island has a reputation for quiet beauty but we found plenty to do for our four-night stay.

The location is magical - secluded and quiet. The bed is incredibly comfortable and I enjoyed a very restful sleep. The house is nicely decorated, with great water pressure for showers. Beautiful breeze at night. Sofia is a lovely host and very communicative on WhatsApp. A maintenance man lives nearby for any issues, but we did not have any.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Very clean, nice small touches that really made the cost worth it. a kitchenette, basket of tea and cream, olive oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, butter and water in the fridge. Everything was nicely decorated and the back veranda was private. Easy (and nice) walking distance from the village, and right near a bus stop. A large amount of parking as well.
