The villa is brand new (Summer 2024), well finished and equipped, with a spacious terrace and plunge pool from which you can see the surrounding olive groves, and beyond, the sea and mountains. The location was quiet and v peaceful and a short drive to Makry Aglios for supper on the quayside. The owners were very helpful and kind - meeting us on arrival and providing a welcome gift of homemade treats, locally produced olive oil and Raki - unexpectedly, they invited us to a BBQ one night and we had a very convivial evening with our charming hosts.

Excellent host, wonderful space and a very confortable and enjoyable stay. The garden is beautiful and the house itself is so nice and clean. It's a short drive to Ierapetra and the beaches and restaurants there. I couldn't recommend Arhondia House highly enough, we'll be coming back next summer.

It was intricately decorated and you could feel the history in the air. The house was very clean and the views were remarkable. We especially enjoyed morning showers on the roof overlooking the valley, it’s a gorgeous and unforgettable landscape. At night the stars are lush and you can make out constellations and planets. The nights were very quiet in Stavrochori. We had cat neighbours visiting regularly, that was a sweet experience.

This was a very local accommodation with two toilets. It was very comfortable, although the balcony was not connected to the flat. It was outside and around to some steps. Nonetheless, the host was very kind and showed us everything that we needed.

This place exceeded our expectations! Great decor and everything very clean. The terrace is lovely, beautiful garden and amazing seaview! This is the place for those who seek for tranquility, great beaches and genuine restaurants. Last but not least, the hostess is wonderful and does everything she can to ensure you have a comfortable stay! Highly recommend!
Really quiet place, very good to relax. Hosts are very kind and do as much as possible for the tourists' comfort. Appartment and terrace very clean, fresh sheets every week. Self-made Tsipouro and fruits on the table, seaview from the terrace, beach small but lovely, only few tourists, no noise, nice taverna at the beach. We enjoyed the very pleasant contact with the host-family. It almost felt like being with good old friends. We are looking forward to our next visit to this wonderful place.
Excellent location. Beach a bit far to go on foot but many accessible by car within a few minutes and the pool is very big, very clean and with a fabulous view. We had 2 adjacent studios including a bigh one with a great balcony. Excellent spot to explore Eastern Crete.
We booked Michalis apartment last minute. He welcomed us very warmly despite the spontaneous booking and arranged everything for us at short notice. Michalis was a perfect host, he provided us with tips and recommendations for the local area and helped us with some errands! The apartment was very clean and is well equipped. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We enjoyed every minute to the fullest and could relax in a quiet location in the best way! We will definitely come back!
