The location is so peaceful and remote with stunning views but still an easy drive to see other places around the area. The lodge was amazing and the perfect spot to relax and recharge.

Lovely clean and comfortable house. Rooms are spacious and well equipped (everything you would need, plus a variety of books and games). Porch handy to keep coats, wellies etc. Great location. Cashpoint around the corner, coop across the road, plenty of book shops for those who enjoy reading and a lovely chip shop next door. Locals were very friendly.

Great location in the heart of Wigtown. Easy walk to the bookshops and the excellent ReadingLasses cafe with its huge range of home-baked cakes and great soup. The house is roomy and comfortable and very clean. The shower we used is good and the mattress comfortable. It proved a great base for cycling the Mull of Galloway and Isle of Whithorn and there was plenty of room to store our bikes.
Everything about our 1 night stay was perfect. Our room was on the top floor and we had lovely views. It was large and airy and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable we've had so far on our holiday. Breakfast was lovely!
